The Fractional C-Suite Retreat

The Client Experience - Fractional C-Suite Retreat - Episode # 019

March 29, 2022

Sarah Ginand is the Owner at Strategic Marketing Consulting, LLC. Building the relationship and the connection between your customers and employees is something that she sees as incredibly important and wants everyone to see how much it can help a company. Sarah sits down with host Joseph Frost to talk about that and some of the other innovations in the C-Suite.

  • Relationship building is an important aspect of working as a C-suite executive. You want to build a solid relationship with your employees and clients.
  • Think about your clients' issues and how you can better. You want to hear what they have to say and not just be a cheerleader for yourself.
  • You want to give people content that is interesting to them. You will only know what is interesting to them by building the relationship.
  • Encourage people to join professional organizations. That is an easy way for people to interact with others in their world.
  • Make a phone call as a leader to check in with one of your best clients. It goes a long way and sets a good example for all the employees.
  • There are many ways to be a leader in an organization. You want to pair people with things that they are interested in for being a leader.
  • You are asking a fractional leader to partner with you to help reach your goals, rather than just hiring a full time person who will do what you want.

Quote of the Show:

32:08 “You are asking a fractional leader to partner with you as opposed to, complete a transaction to reach your goals. And so the fractional leader has a lot of experience typically in your area or similar areas. And understands the big picture, but also gets how to bring that down to an implementation level too.”
